Solution Tree's Pyramid Response to Intervention
Workshop
July 25 & 26, 2011
Wayland Public Schools is hosting a Standard 2-day onsite Solution Tree
Pyramid Response to Intervention Workshop - attendance is
limited. Please plan to attend in teams and bring individual student
and school-wide achievement data. These workshops would be particularly helpful
for teachers already implementing PLC concepts in their school or district.
You will learn:
- How RTI blurs the boundaries between regular and special education to create
a unified system that serves all students
- Two accepted systems for implementing RTI and models of RTI at work in real
schools
- How the three big ideas of a PLC - focus on learning, build a collaborative
culture, and focus on results - make PLC and RTI natural partners
- The characteristics of effective interventions
- The central importance of building a strong core program
- How to create effective supplements to the core program

FEE is $380 for both days, including lunch. This
workshop would normally cost $600 through Solution Tree.
